Batter Up Cake has been Melissa's kitchen since April 2004. Every cake is made to order — no stock of sheet cakes in a case, no off-the-shelf defaults. You tell her what the day is, who it's for, and roughly what you want it to look and taste like, and she builds it.
Wedding cakes are a specialty — the centerpiece of the biggest day. Birthdays are equally at home here, from elegant designs to the most wonderfully wacky kids' cakes imaginable. And anything else that calls for a cake — anniversaries, graduations, showers, first communions, Tuesdays that need lifting — is welcome too. Repeat customers are the best kind of compliment.

Wedding cakes: delivery is always quoted — setup is part of the job, and a tiered cake doesn't travel on the honor system. We'll work out the fee when we plan your cake.
Birthday & celebration cakes: first ten miles free. Further than that, just ask — we'll quote you a small fee.
